The past few weeks have been extremely busy as our campaign went into full swing. Sign waving every morning and afternoon, walking door-to-door on the weekends, holding "talk story/coffee hour" sessions, attending Neighborhood Board meetings and other various community organization meetings have made for a very full schedule.

Our campaign committee has worked hard to help get our positive message out to the community. I am so grateful to have so many committed and supportive volunteers who believe in my candidacy and the positive changes that I am trying to make for our community.

Our race is certainly catching a lot of attention, since it is an open House seat, with two very young, strong and female candidates. The race to win the Makiki-Tantalus House seat is definitely a well-fought battle and hopefully the winner will be the community.

Only 12 more days until the General Election and the election of a new State Representative for District 25.

Aloha and welcome to my campaign blog! As a second-time candidate for the Makiki-Tantalus House Seat I am excited about this year's election, because there are so many great races out there.

With the number of open House seats we have an opportunity to truly bring in new blood to the the Legislative atmosphere, which will result in revitalized discussions to help improve the problems in our State, ranging from crime and safety, healthcare, education, the environment, etc.

I am proud to be a candidate for the Makiki-Tantalus House Seat and would be honored to have the opportunity to represent my community in the State Legislature beginning this November.

My family and I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming General Election.
